Smile U Training Program
Keystone Dental's Smile U Training Program is a combination of on-demand, online-based courses and on-site training for implant and dental practice staff. The curriculum was designed by respected implant surgeons and expert dental management practice consultants to:

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The Smile U curriculum is made up of 12 modules divided into four levels:
A combination of on-demand education events and live surgical onsite.
| MODULE 101 Normal Craniofacial Anatomy Designed to provide a foundation of knowledge on tooth development, anatomy relevant to teeth and implants, natural tooth form, missing teeth and types of prosthesis. (1 hour, web–based) |
MODULE 102 Etiology of Tooth Loss and Consequences: Caries and Periodontal Diseases Includes normal dental and periodontal anatomy, caries and consequences, and periodontal disease and consequences. |
MODULE 103 Methods of Reconstruction of the Periodontium Designed to provide a basic understanding of periodontal anatomy and disease, regeneration of lost periodontal tissues, and case presentations. (1 hour, web–based, includes Modules 102 and 103) |
| MODULE 104 The Basics of Dental Implants Includes an overview of what dental implants are and their design options, what happens to the facial structure when teeth are not replaced, and a general overview of how tissue regeneration and computer–surgery are used in implant dentistry. (1 hour, web–based) |
MODULE 105 Understanding Patient Psychology Understanding the motivations that drive smile restoration will allow the implant team to have more meaningful and effective discussions with patients. (1 hour, web–based) |
MODULE 106 Surgical Field–Trip Surgical onsites for referring practice staff will help them understand just how easy implants can be. (2 hours, live) |
Continuing Education

Smile U participants are eligible for up to 17 hours of CE credits, and will receive a Certificate of Completion upon graduating.
