Keystone Dental's Smile U Training Program is a combination of on-demand, online-based courses and on-site training for implant and dental practice staff. The curriculum was designed by respected implant surgeons and expert dental management practice consultants to:

Level 1: The Basics

A combination of on-demand education events and live surgical onsite.

MODULE 101 Normal Craniofacial Anatomy Designed to provide a foundation of knowledge on tooth development, anatomy relevant to teeth and implants, natural tooth form, missing teeth and types of prosthesis. (1 hour, web–based)	MODULE 102 Etiology of Tooth Loss and Consequences: Caries and Periodontal Diseases Includes normal dental and periodontal anatomy, caries and consequences, and periodontal disease and consequences.	MODULE 103 Methods of Reconstruction of the Periodontium Designed to provide a basic understanding of periodontal anatomy and disease, regeneration of lost periodontal tissues, and case presentations. (1 hour, web–based, includes Modules 102 and 103)
MODULE 104 The Basics of Dental Implants Includes an overview of what dental implants are and their design options, what happens to the facial structure when teeth are not replaced, and a general overview of how tissue regeneration and computer–surgery are used in implant dentistry. (1 hour, web–based)	MODULE 105 Understanding Patient Psychology Understanding the motivations that drive smile restoration will allow the implant team to have more meaningful and effective discussions with patients. (1 hour, web–based)	MODULE 106 Surgical Field–Trip Surgical onsites for referring practice staff will help them understand just how easy implants can be. (2 hours, live)

Level 2: Prima Know-How

Level 2 is live, in-office education.

Overview of the Prima Implant System Staff will learn about the exceptional benefits of the Prima Implant System.

MODULE 201 Surgical Highlights Understanding the steps in the Prima Surgical System will allow staff to see the simplicity of placing this implant. (1 hour, live)

MODULE 202 Restorative Highlights Gaining a knowledge base of Prima’s Restorative System will improve staff’s ability to order components for cases and explain the process of restoration to patients. (1 hour, live)

Level 3: Team Training

MODULE 301 Team Training Day A major highlight of Smile U is this in-person Team Training Day for the implant practice coordinator as well as implant and restorative practice staff. This comprehensive session will help the implant team increase effectiveness when discussing smile restoration with patients and learn ways to create patient satisfaction, case acceptance and referrals by creating an exceptional patient experience. Curriculum includes: • The Basics of Dental Implants • Roles and Responsibilities of the Implant Team • Identifying Implant Patients • Communicating with Patients • Increasing Case Acceptance • Risks, Benefits and Alternatives for Implant   Dentistry: Their Role in Informed Consent Faculty for Team Training Day includes nationally-renowned Dental Practice Management Consultants

MODULE 302 Implementing Key Takeaways Consultation with Keystone Dental Professional Sales Representative to gain optimum use of Prima Patient Education Materials and Practice Management Tools.
