The X Marker provides a fiduciary marker in the CT scan to allow the surgical planning software’s coordinate system to precisely align to the surgical guide computer manufacturing process. This means that Keystone Dental can use the virtual case plan created by the clinician to convert the radiographic guide into a precise surgical guide.

NOTE: The X Marker is limited to use in a maximum of 10 cases. You will receive notification when the X Marker has less than 3 uses remaining. Once the X Marker reaches the recommended number of uses it will not be returned and it will be necessary to purchase a new X Marker.
